Our story
From research lab to the planet’s operating picture
Atlaso started in 2022 when a small team of remote-sensing researchers and engineers noticed the same pattern everywhere they worked: organizations had access to more imagery than ever, but only a handful of specialists could turn it into answers.
We set out to change that by building a geospatial foundation model — trained on billions of square kilometers of optical and radar imagery — and wrapping it in a product anyone can use. Today, insurers, utilities, governments, farmers and conservation groups rely on Atlaso to watch the places that matter to them.
We’re just getting started. The planet is changing fast, and we think everyone deserves to see it clearly.
